Symptoms

On : 12.0.4 version, Subledger Accounting

Launching the OPM Pre-processor for a Closed previous Period after specifying a 'GL date' in an Open Period gives the following error  in Create Accounting -


ERROR
-----------------------

Error 95325

The GL date is not in an open or a future enterable period. Please select a valid GL date or open the period.


STEPS
------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

On the 'Start OPM Accounting Pre-Processsor' form >

1. In the field "Period", specify a Closed Period
2. Get message - "The period is closed in Oracle GL. Do you wish to continue ? "
    Ans : Yes.
3. Specify a 'GL Date' in an Open Period
4. Launch the OPM Pre-processor.


Workaround is to reopen prior GL periods to enable posting to the current period
