Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.1.0 to 6.1.3 [Release 6.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An REPORT agent is configured with actoin NOTIFY INVOLVED PARTY. This agent action should search for attached Involved Parties on the Shipment, Order Release, Invoice, etc...

When this agent action is doing this search for contacts, it is using the REPORT_LOG_PARAMETER in the SQL Query. However, there are not entries in this table and therefore the SQL query returns no contacts and no notification is done.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect Notification to involved parties to be sent

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create the following Agents:

a) An Agent to Create the Report upon triggered actions
b) An Agent to Send the report upon creation and to use the action NOTIFY INVOLVED PARTY

3. Trigger  the above to force the report creation/delivery
4. Review the generated log, and you will notice the agent could not find an involved party associated to the Report object as expected
