Goal

This document provides an overview of of the basic html customization techniques available in Oracle Scripting.

Specifically it covers :

Pre-requisites

The example detailed in this note builds on the Basic Graphical script described in Note 1214978.1 How to Create Branching in Oracle Scripting .  This original note provides further guidance on the creation of panels and questions which will be referenced within the guide.

Note :  Customizing the html within the panels via Scripting Author is the correct technique for applying basic UI customization, however these are localized to the section of the screen associated with the individual panel and cannot be used as a technique for customizing the look and feel of the entire application.

Warning : Make sure its clearly stated all answers/embedded values are added in scripting before attempting to change the html as scripting codes these items in the html to link in with the script file.

For more information on personalizing the look and feel of apps see the Oracle Application Framework Personalization Guide (R12).
