Symptoms

The application server appears to be working fine and the web server is running, but the web server is not able to access the application server,the following error occurs.

The web server only work on restart of web and app servers.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Start the whole stack (web & app).
2. Observe normal operation.
3. Stop and start the web tier only
4. Observe that you get HTTP 503 page
5. Recover by restarting the whole stack again.
