"Multiple items selected. Please select only one" Error When Running the "View Inventory Summary" Action on the Dispatch Board

Symptoms
In the Location Asset Inventory pane on the Dispatch Board, when using the Action "View Inventory Summary" after selecting a single row, the following error is displayed:

Multiple items selected. Please select only one. .
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Fleet Management -> Dispatch Board
2. Highlight a single item in the "Location Asset Inventory" pane
Notice: the bottom of this pane says: Rows Selected 1
3. Click the "double arrow" icon in the top of the pane to show the buttons
4. Click on Actions -> View Inventory Summary
Error is received:
Multiple items selected. Please select only one. .
