"Mime Type should be less than 51 characters" Error When Uploading XLSX Document File

Symptoms
When attempting to upload a document type of xlsx the following error occurs.
ERROR

"Mime Type should be less than 51 characters"
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1 - Log onto an OTM system.
2 - Navigate to: Business Process Automation > Document Manager > New > Document detail.
3 - Enter an ID
4 - Click Upload.
5 - Navigate to and selecte the .xlsx file.
6 - Click Upload.
7 - The Mime Type field is autopopulated with:
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
8 - Click Finished.
9 - An error popup is displayed:
"Mime Type should be less than 51 characters"
