Define Intracompany balancing rules as:
Debit account: 01.0000.00.0000
Credit Account: 02.0000.00.0000
You enter a journal with 2 lines:
Account: 01.0000.00.0000 1000.00 Dr
Account: 02.0000.00.0000 1000.00 Cr
You post the journal. It fails with the following message in the 'Posting Validation Report' output:
Intercompany processing error
In the Posting request log file, one can read:
PPOS0251: The following journals encountered errors while trying to balance with the listed intracompany accounts:
