Goal

The document provides answers to the following:
What is the use of the variable FDMXHEAP?
What is the default value for the variable FDMXHEAP?
When the growth rate is more than the one defined in the varaiable FDMXHEAP, is the restart of processes a "normal" operation and the message in the logfile simply is an information that the process has been restarted. Will jobs for the manager complete normal BEFORE the manager is terminated? Can we live with processes beeing terminated? Or should we set the FDMXHEAP so high that there will be no restarts?
