Self Registration Error in Notification Illegal Characters Found in URL (Doc ID 1279083.1)

Symptoms

As part of the self registration process, the notification email is sent and contains the following error.  The user is actually created, the error is just in the URL.

     Additional access to Your Compay iReceivables Account Management for Joe User, account number 1111, is granted to user useremail@<DOMAIN_NAME>.com
         3012: Illegal characters found in '< http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp?>'.
