BI Publisher 10G Installation Hangs at 100 Percent

Symptoms
On : 10.1.3.4.1 version, Enterprise : Install / Upgrade
When attempting to install BI Publisher on Novel SUSE 9.x the install completes to 100% but then the application just hangs.
Grep for process at the OS level and the following example is returned:
ps -ef | grep BI_P
/u01/java/jdk-6u22/bin/java -jar /u01/app/oracle/product/10g_BI_Publisher/oc4j_bi/j2ee/home/jazn.jar –activateadmin password
Performed a strace operation at the OS level to see why process appears to be stuck:
<USERNAME>@<HOST>:~> strace -p 3377
Process 3377 attached - interrupt to quit
