Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to create Personal Payment Method with Branch Code = <NNNNN>, the following error occurs:

The Bank Code/Branch Code/Account Number fails the check digit test. Bank account number must be in the format CCCCCCCCCCC-NN

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Responsibility: FR HRMS Manager
  2. Navigation: People - Enter and Maintain
  3. Query person
  4. Press Assignment button
  5. Press Pay Method button
  6. Create new Personal Payment Method
  7. Click on Bank Details DFF
  8. Fill in details:
    • Branch Code: <NNNNN>
  9. Press Ok button
  10. Get error message
