Is It Possible To Rollback Transfer To SLA After Create Accounting Is Run? (Doc ID 1292029.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The Payroll process "Transfer to SLA" cannot be rolled back once the "Create Accounting" is run in Payroll/SLA responsibility in FINAL mode. If run in Draft mode it can be rolled back.

Upon attempting to rollback the "Transfer to SLA" it will be prevented and an error message regarding payroll interlock is given stating the rollback cannot be completed. There is no other payroll process interlocking it which can be rolled back first as there is a restriction in Core Pay that prevents rollback of "Transfer to SLA" if "Create Accounting" is completed in Final Mode.

This is not how R11i operated or how the "Transfer to GL" process works.

Please can this be explained how and why this restriction exists?
