Symptoms

No rows are returned when searching for Positions(HR) Roles in User Management Role & Role Inheritance Search Screen:

Category: Positions (HR)

Enabling FND Diaganostics Sql Trace, reveals the following sql is being used to search for the rows:

SELECT 'POS'||':'||POS.POSITION_ID name, POS.NAME display_name, POS.NAME description, wf_pref.get_pref('-WF_DEFAULT-','MAILTYPE') notification_preference, FNDL.NLS_LANGUAGE language, FNDT.NLS_TERRITORY territory, NULL email_address, NULL fax, 'POS' orig_system, POS.POSITION_ID orig_system_id, to_date(NULL) start_date, 'ACTIVE' status, to_date(NULL) expiration_date, NULL security_group_id, 'N' user_flag, 4 partition_id from FND_TERRITORIES FNDT, FND_LANGUAGES FNDL, HR_LOCATIONS_ALL HRL, PER_ALL_POSITIONS POS WHERE POS.LOCATION_ID = HRL.LOCATION_ID(+) and HRL.COUNTRY = FNDT.TERRITORY_CODE(+) and FNDT.NLS_TERRITORY = FNDL.NLS_TERRITORY(+) AND FNDL.INSTALLED_FLAG = 'B'
