Ship Unit Spec Not Populated on Split Shipment Screen

Symptoms
When splitting a shipment that was built from an order release which has a Transport Handling Unit, the Split Shipment screen is not showing the Ship Unit Specification value.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an order release with a Ship Unit that is set with a Transport Handling Unit and ship unit count
2. Plan the order on to shipment.
3. Select the shipment and click Actions - Change Shipment Route - Split Shipment and then selected Split By Ship Unit. The Ship Unit Spec field does not show any value.
