Unable To Add Shipment Event Or Secure Resources While The Shipment Edit Screen Is Open - Issue For Subdomains Only

Symptoms
On OTM version 5.5.06.01 when a Shipment is open in Edit mode attempting to add an event to a Shipment results in the following error (see below) however when attempting to Secure Resources the update is not saved and the status is not updated. This only arises on a child domain.

Shipment ABC%2ABC.01037 resources have not been secured
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1 - Login in to the child domain
2 - Navigate to Transport Planning and Execution > Buy Shipment > Run an open search.
3 - Select a shipment and click “EDIT” Button.
4 - Click Actions > Events > Add Shipment Event > Add an Event.
5 - Attempt to Secure Resources and not this does not change the status.
