How To Update UOM In iProcurement Shopping Cart For Internal Requisitions? (Doc ID 1313328.1)

Last updated on MARCH 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On 11.5.10, while creating an Internal Requisitions in iProcurement, the Unit of Issue (UOI) if any has been setup at Item Master is getting defaulted and the system is not giving an option to update this in the Shopping Cart.

- Inventory Items that have been setup with a Primary Unit of Measure (UOM) in the Main tab and another UOI in the Purchasing tab at the Item Master, then while creating the Internal Requisitions, the UOM is getting defaulted to the UOI that has been setup for the Item and the application does not give an option to change the same in iProcurement.

- While creating the Purchase Requisitions for the same Item, the Primary UOM gets defaulted but can be changed as required.

- When creating the same Internal Requisitions from the Purchasing module, then the system gives an option to change the UOM and due to this issue users are getting confused.

Is there any way that users  can change the UOM while creating Internal Requisitions in iProcurement?
