Schedule Orders Updates Scheduled Ship Date SSD on a Line With Override ATP Checked (Doc ID 1319973.1)

Last updated on JULY 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.0.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
After changing the nightly 'Schedule Orders' request to reschedule using mode = Reschedule using Request
Date, find that it overrides the scheduled ship date (SSD) on lines that have had the ATP override field
checked.  The resulting SSD is set to equal the request date.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
You thought that if  'Override ATP' is checked on the line, then any scheduling or re-scheduling would
ignore this line and leave the current SSD that user updated previously.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Query sales order
2. Check 'Override ATP' on the line and re-scheduled the line with a future date
3. Run 'Schedule Orders' concurrent program with Mode = reschedule using request date.
Results: the line with 'Override ATP' checked has been updated with a new Schedule Ship Date (same as Request Date).
