Symptoms
When attempting to hire an applicant, the following error occurs:
-- Error
This person either does not exist at all or does not exist as of the effective date.
-- Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. Manager Self-Service > Applicant Hire and Rehire.
2. Enter Search criteria
Business Group
Last Name
Effective Date
Person Type=External Applicant
3. Click Go
4. Click Hire button
Enter required fields
5. Click Next
