Symptoms

Attempt to post intercompany journals in General Ledger (GL) module. The concurrent program's log file and the output show errors. The GL accounts (Setup > Accounts > Combinations) form shows the accounts reported in the logfile are created and enabled, ready to be used.

ERROR:

- in the Log file:

SHRD0118: Updated 1 record(s) in table: GL_JE_BATCHES

PPOS0250: The following journals encountered errors while trying to create or retrieve the listed intercompany or intracompany accounts:

=> TEST-JournalABC

105-000-300-0000-0000-12000-0000

105-000-500-0000-0000-12000-0000

The logfile may also show:

PERF0005: Oracle error detected in glpubr() - ORA-01403: no data found

PPOS0002: Posting terminated with fatal errors

Intercompany processing error

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. General Ledger responsibility > Journals > Post

2. Post an Intercompany journal

3. See the log and the output, they both indicate errors
