Last updated on MAY 03, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) does not pick up retroactive changes in salary page.

Example:

There has been a backdated change in Employee's Basic Salary (Element associated to Salary Basis). When executed, the Retro-Notification Report (Enhanced) - PDF is blank and does not display employees who have Retro Active Changes to be processed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Under HRMS Manager responsibility or equivalent.
  2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for employee > Assignment > Others > Run QuickPay process for few payroll periods.
  3. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for employee > Assignment > Salary > Make a backdated change to an employee's salary proposal.
  4. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) - PDF process or Quick Retropay (Enhanced) process.
  5. Observe that retro change is not picked/processed.
