On occasion you may notice that email notifications are not being delivered to recipients. The problem may be intermittent or it may affect a large number of recipients or only a few. Upon investigation, it's found that the recipient's email preference is 'DISABLED' and of course this will prevent any mail from being sent to this user. The status of the outbound mail message will be 'FAILED'.
Note that users with DISABLED notification preference who have online access to Oracle Applications will still see their notifications in their worklist.
