Create Accounting Issue: APP-AR-294571 Cannot Close AR Due To Unprocessed Third Party Merge Events (Doc ID 1328956.1)

Symptoms

BEST PRACTICES:

  1. Run the Receivables Period Close Analyzer before closing the period to proactively identify this issue, as well as many other issues that will prevent you from closing the period.

  2. If you post to multiple EBS subledgers, use the EBS Period Close Process Analyzer for a smoother period close.

 

1. Unable to close the period due to

APP-AR-294571 : The PERIOD cannot be closed due to some unprocessed accounting events or un-transferred journal entries.

2. Create Accounting shows no records to be processed

3. Subledger Period Close Exception shows rows with Event_Type = PARTIAL MERGE and Status = Unprocessed, but does not list the item(s) these events are associated with, so unable to identify to run diagnostics for further investigation.

4. Run Subledger Accounting Program Report for 'Process Category' = Third Party Merge, receive message:

Message Number    Message
95349                     There are no eligible transactions to account.  Please update the parameters or
                              submit the request at a later time when there are transactions requiring accounting.
                              Unable to determine what Merge Events are unprocessed and how to process
                              them.
