Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On OTM version 6.2 when two shipments are merged together once the merge is started the user interface does not display a timer to let the user know the merge in being carried out.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
A timer to be shown to let the user know the merge is being carried out and so the user does not re-click the button to run merge again, or for the buttons to be grayed out so the user cannot re-click them once the merge has started .

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1 - Log onto an OTM 6.2 system.

2 - Create 2 Shipments.

3 - Search for and select the two shipments.

4 - Click Actions > Operational Planning > Change Shipment Route > Merge Shipments.

5 - In the next screen click OK.

6 - In the merge Shipments screen tick consolidate then click Optimise.

7 - The screen does not update until either the shipments are merged or fail to merge.

8 - While the merge is being carried out there is no clock timer image to let the user know that OTM is carrying out the merge.
