Last updated on JULY 09, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version: 6.1.3 to 6.1.6 - Release: 6.1 to 6.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 6.1.3 version,

You set a distance look up of 1 KM between 2 locations. These locations are the last stop of the first shipment and the first stop of the second shipment. When you link shipments and go check the empty distance between the locations, the field "Continuous Move Empty Distance" has 0.62 KM instead of 1 KM.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Orders
1_NORTH (ATL > IND)
1_SOUTH (CHI > MIA)

Itinerary
USA_USA

Rate Offering
6072133_A_RO (CM Lane USA_USA)

Rate Records
6072133_A_ATL_IND
CHARGE 100.00 USD PER Buy Shipment

6072133_A_CHI_MIA
CHARGE 100.00 USD PER Buy Shipment

Distance Lookup
IND > CHI = 1 KM

Shipments
01547
01548

When you link both shipment > edit the second shipment > you see the "Continuous Move Empty Distance" = 0.62 KM which is not correct.
