New Reference Unit Generates Blank Lines

Symptoms
On OTM version 6.2.2 when adding Equipment Reference Units to a Ship Unit in an Order, blank lines are saved to the Ship Unit as well as the line added. The order cannot be saved until the blank lines are deleted.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect only the line to be saved.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1 - Log onto an internal OTM 6.2 system.
2 - Navigate to: Order Management > Order Release > Order Release.
3 - Create a new Order.
4 - Save the Order.
5 - Edit the Order.
6 - Navigate to the Ship Unit tab and drilled down into the Ship Unit.
7 - In the 'Ship Unit Equipment Reference Unit' enter:
Equipment Reference Unit ID: ERU
Equipment Reference Units Per Ship Unit: 33
Total Reference Units: 33
8 - Click Save.
9 - The line is saved but so are 2 additional blank lines.
The order will not save until the blank lines are removed.
