Create Accounting - Assets was ran and transferred to GL, find the accounting entries for depreciation for NOV-10 were posted to DEC-10 in GL.

The FA calendar period dates for Nov and Dec are:
NOV-10 - 01-Nov-10 to 30-NOV-10
DEC-10 - 01-DEC-10 to 31-DEC-10

The GL calendar period dates are:
NOV-10 - 02-Nov-10 to 29-NOV-10
DEC-10 - 30-NOV-10 to 04-JAN-11

The GL journal has an effective date of 04-JAN-11 and is posted to DEC-10.

In 11.5.8 the same journal would have posted correctly to the NOV-10 period in GL.

Please explain why the journal posts to a different period in R12 ?
