Need more details on the Mileage field with respect to Commitment count functionality in OTM (Doc ID 1349863.1)

Goal

This query is regarding the Commitment count functionality. After planning the shipment, we are able to see the commitment usage for the planned shipment. There is a field known as "Mileage" in the commit count usage page. We want to know if the current functionality allows the mileage to get updated in that field for distance calculation?
