"Event Description" and "Reason Description" Not Populated on Shipment Event When Created from Integration with Quick Code

Symptoms
When uploading a Shipment Event using a Quick Code the Event on the Shipment does not contain the following details:

Reason Description
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect all the data that a quick code is made up of to be added to the Event on the Shipment.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to: Business Process Automation > Integration > Integration Manager > Upload an XML/CSV Transmission > Select the XML file for a Shipment Event that uses a Quick Code
2. Go to the Shipment, clicked Actions > Shipment Management > Events > View Event.
Notice that the following fields remain unpopulated:

Reason Description
Changes
Cause
