Impact of using profile GMF: Cost Allocation Factor Calculation with value "Dynamic" (Doc ID 1365406.1)

Last updated on MARCH 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Financials - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In order to have the cost allocation factor being dynamically calculated at batch close, based on multiple product yields, one would set profile "GMF: Cost Allocation Factor Calculation" to value "Dynamic".

However, considering the fact that this profile is not yet implementing in OPM Costing side, one must run the "GMF Recreate Batch / Period Layers" concurrent request for the batch.

What if the costs for the products in the batch are not those as expected?
