Goal

The project manager plans workplan cost at the expenditure category level, i.e. the assignments on the tasks are expenditure categories like 'Expenses'. Actual costs incurred on the project is always at the expenditure type level, i.e., Airfare. We would like the ability to map the expenditure type cost to the expenditure category instead of the system creating a separate line as an unplanned assignment for the expenditure type. Is this possible?
