Incorrect Ship Unit Ranges When Order Quantities Are Changed
(Doc ID 1378210.1)
Last updated on JULY 20, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.2.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The Ship Unit Range is "incorrect" when the Ship Unit Quantity is changed on an Order Movement and the Order Movement is planned.
Example:
- Create an order with a ship unit count of 1.
- Create an order movement. When looking at the s_ship_unit table, the range is 1-1 (start-end)
- Open the Order Movement in edit mode and edit the Ship Unit to increase the count to 350 -> save. When looking at the s_ship_unit table again, the count has increased but the range is still 1-1
Should this not have changed?
- Select the Order Movement and bulk plan it. The Movement is now planned on 35 shipments. When looking at the s_ship_unit table again, the Ship Unit ranges all have negative values.
