Why GOSI Calculation Always Takes The Lower Limit Of The Base Value ? (Doc ID 1383943.1)

Symptoms


When run payroll on January , GOSI always takes lower limit of the base value in January  , however it works fine starting from February

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expected GOSI Reference Salary to be correct 

Steps to replicate the issue  :-

----------------------------------

1. Navigate to SA HRMS manager > total compensation >Write Formula 

2- Write formula XXX to Return GOSI REFERNCE . Below is example of the formula used in this scenario 

DEFAULT FOR GOSI_REFERENCE IS 0

GOSI_REFERENCE = BASIC_SALARY_ASG_YTD

RETURN GOSI_REFERENCE

3- Navigate to SHRMS manager >Organization> query The Business Group and  select the GRE/Legal entity in the Organization Classifications region.

4. Choose the Others button to display Additional Organization Information window.

5. From the Additional Organization Information window, select GOSI Reference Formula.

6. Click in the field to display the GOSI Reference Formula window.

7. Enter the formula created in step 2 XXX   and save 

8-Run Payroll for January . GOSI is wrong . 

9-Run GOSI for February , GOSI is correct
