Saved Query User Access Changes Not Updating Finder Screen Drop Down Selections (Doc ID 1385321.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A User is configured with access to certain Saved Queries based on that User Access configuration. When navigating to the Finder screen for the object in which the user has a Saved Query defined, the user can see the specific (and correct) Saved Queries listed in the drop down on the bottom of the page.

The Manage User Access is used to modify the list of Saved Queries in which the user can access. When the User goes to the Finder screen again, it is found that the previous list of Saved Queries are still displayed. The new configuration is not seen.

For example, a user is configured with a User Access to only Buy Shipment Saved Query: SAVED_QUERY_1. When navigating to the Buy Shipment Screen, the SAVED_QUERY_1 query is found in the drop down for Saved Query. The User Access is modified to add another Saved Query (SAVED_QUERY_2). When the user navigates to the Buy Shipment screen, the Saved Query drop down still only lists SAVED_QUERY_1.
