Symptoms

When attempting to perform an Extract in iSetup of the Payroll elements the following error occurs:

Status: ERROR

Time Taken to execute the API=7198
Extract failed:
java.lang.Exception: API execution terminated because of error
at oracle.apps.az.r12.extractor.cpserver.APIExtractor.callAPIs(APIExtractor.java:208)
at oracle.apps.az.r12.extractor.cpserver.ExtractorContextImpl.export(ExtractorContextImpl.java:61)
at oracle.apps.az.r12.extractor.cpserver.ExtractorCp.runProgram(ExtractorCp.java:62)
at oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.Run.main(Run.java:157)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to iSetup - Selection sets
2. Create a selection set for payroll Element
3. Create a filer for the set for Business group name  xxxx
4. Create the extract
5. Name xxxx Elements
6. Selection Set - xxxx Elements
7. source Instance - xxxx
8. Extract is submitted and completes in error
