Goal

I am currently testing the "Mark for Purge" process, trying to first delete all shipment records older than 6 months, and then delete all order release records older than 6 months.

I find that the "Mark for Purge" does not work with a large number of records however when I limit the number of records in the query by changing the query, the "Mark for Purge" works fine.

Is there a limit on the number of records that can be Marked for Purge?
