"Failed to impersonate user" Error When Running 11g BI Publisher Scheduled Reports Using LDAP Security With Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD) Directly In BIP (Doc ID 1433140.1)

BI Publisher scheduled reports using LDAP Security with Microsoft Active Directory fail with the following error:

::JOB_PROCESSOR_EXCEPTION::[INSTANCE_ID=TST-OBIP-01.1] [INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1000]::Error to reestablish global user:: USERNAME=[mylogin] INSTANCE_JOB_ID=[1000::Failed to impersonate user. USERNAME=mylogin INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1000::java.lang.Exception: Failed to impersonate user. USERNAME=mylogin INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1000

 

The same error can also occur when there is are Scheduling permissions assigned to Weblogic user:


Failed to impersonate user. USERNAME=weblogic INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1000 INSTANCE JOB ID= [1000] PARENT JOB ID= [1000] java.lang.Exception: Failed to impersonate user. USERNAME=weblogic INSTANCE_JOB_ID=1000
