Cannot Save Receipt Transactions for Lot Controlled Items (Nothing Happens) (Doc ID 1453675.1)

Symptoms

Transactions for Lot Controlled Items cannot be completed. 

After Lot details are entered (on Receipts form or Receiving Transactions form) and Lot Entry form is Closed, nothing happens when Save is done / form hangs.

If User Closes form, the following is displayed:
Do you want to commit?

If click the "Yes" button another forms message appear showing
Do you want to save the changes you have made?

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
. Navigate to Enter Receipts or Receiving Transactions form
. Select line to receive
. see Decision Message
Do you want to commit ?
and
Forms Message
Do you want to save the changes you have made?
Nothing occurs
