After Clicking on Configurator Button in Order Management (OM) Get Message 'Configurator processing. Please wait...'

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When clicking on the Configurator button in the Sales Order / Line Items tab, the following message is displayed and nothing else happens:
"Configurator processing. Please wait.."
This issue started after applying Inventory Patch 13840758. How does one resolve this issue?
