Symptoms
When attempting to perform retroactive changes to an assignment, the following error occurs.
ERROR
APP-PAY-06589: Retropay by Element, Source Id points to Element Entry nonrecurring entries will be invalidated.
APP-PAY-06589: Retropay by Element, Source Id points to Element Entry nonrecurring entries will be invalidated.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login into HRMS Manager (or equivalent) responsibility.
2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > search for the employee.
3. Go to Assignment > make changes to the assignment such as job change as of a certain date and get error.
