Values Entered on Ready To Ship for Weight and Volume are Auto Calculated and Not Using Entered Values for Creating the Order Release (Doc ID 1471287.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 19.3 and later
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5.03.02 to 6.2.7 [Release 5.5 to 6.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Values entered on the Ready to Ship screen for Weight/Volume are not used when creating the Order Release. Even when using a custom Order Configuration with all values set to NEVER calculate.

Steps to Replicate
---------------------
1. Navigate to Order Management -> Purchase Order -> Order Base Line
2. Search for Order Base Line with pre-defined Counts, Weights and Volumes
3. Actions -> Ready to Ship
4. Enter the following (values of 1 used for demonstration purposes)

Total Package Count=1
Total Weight=1
Total Volume=1

5. Click Save
6. Edit the new Order Release created

See that the Weight and Volume are some values other than the entered value of 1 (these are the weight/volume per Unit from the original Order Base Line and not the entered values on the Ready to Ship screen).
