R12 Merged Child Lines Are Not Posted To Assets With The Merged Parent (Doc ID 1471445.1)

Symptoms

Merged child lines are not posted to Assets with the merged parent and thus the amount is missing from the asset(s).
The lines not posted are Invoice Price Variance (IPV) lines and they show in the interface with status POSTED but are NOT added to the assets.

This issue still occurs after FA Patch 12932354 and Payables Patch 13365260 are applied.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an invoice in Payables
2. Run Create Mass Additions and see the merged child line in the interface
3. Prepare the parent line
4. Submit Post Mass Additions
