Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Additional Tax is calculated when there is no change in Additional Earnings

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Run Payroll for July-2012.
    July-2012 Payroll Results
    --------------------------
    Tax Scale 7
    Monthly Salary for July = 5000
    Tax = 1023
  2. Create a Bonus element entry in July-2012.
  3. Run Quickpay on 20-Jul-2012.
    July-2012 Bonus Quickpay Results
    --------------------------
    Bonus = 30000
    Additional Tax = 10344
  4. Run Retropay with effective date as 01-Aug-2012 over this assignment.
    July-2012 Bonus Quickpay Results
    --------------------------
    Bonus = 30000
    Additional Tax = 10344
  5. Run Payroll for Aug-2012.
    Additional tax is calculated as 3648

    No Additional Tax should get calculated in Aug-2012 pay run
    as there is no change in Additional earnings and average earnings
