Symptoms


Problem Statement:

With the New Additional SFSS/HELP Component being introduced for July 1 2012. The issue is that when an Employee has received a retrospective payment for the current financial year and then receives either a bonus or retro payment from a previous financial year, system calcualtes with a negative additional SFSS /HELP component for the bonus/previous financial year under conditions where employee is earning near SFSS/HELP calculation rates

System is creating negative tax for SFSS and HELP when additional payments are made after applying AU.18



Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Under certain conditions - Pay an employee who has retro in last financial year and retros in current financial year and could have negative SFSS and or HELP
