Problem Statement:
Post fix <Patch 14199759> NEGATIVE ADDITIONAL TAX FOR SFSS AND HELP AFTER AU.18
That was specifically looking at Additional HELP/SFSS Deductions should be zero instead of negative amount when retro earnings from previous year are positive there is an issue
1. Extension of <Patch 14199759> where Incorrect Additional tax Calculations when there is a positive Bonus Amount after a Previous retrospective Payment for the current financial year
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Then complete Pay Run for Period 1 of 2012/2013 Financial Year - Includes 38 hours of LWOP
- Delete the LWOP that was included in period 1, run retro into period 2 of 2012/2013 Financial Year and then complete pay run for period 2
- Add A Bonus Payment of $2,000 to Pay Period 3 and complete the Pay Run for period 3 of the 2012/2013 Financial Year
- Additional PAYG Tax & HELP Calculations are correct and logically the Additioanl SFSS Deduction is calculated correctly, but the purpose of this <Patch 14199759> was to zero out these types of amounts where the payment amount is positive but the system calculates a negative tax component. A negative SFSS or HELP
