RCA For Order Header Is Booked, Although All Lines Are Closed/cancelled (Doc ID 1489657.1)

On : 12.0.6 version, Transaction Control


Issue is random and not reproduced at will.

There are multiple sales orders where order header is at 'Booked' status and all lines are either cancelled or closed.

Order header is at 'Booked' status. All lines are either at 'Closed' or 'Cancelled' status.
Workflow is 'Order Flow - Generic' , Workflow CLOSE_HEADER_PROCESS with the date of '31-OCT-10_00:00:07'
, there is no error.

Order number 23100001 , workflow 'Order Flow - Generic' with status as 'BOOKED'.
Workflow 'Close - Order Close - Wait For Line Notified CLOSE_HEADER_PROCESS CLOSE_WAIT_FOR_L 31-JAN-10_00:09:30 .
there is no workflow error.

Script ontd0060.sql from Patch 18512724 Data Fix : Close Eligible Sales Order Headers, Purge Errored and Orphan Workflows fixes the issue.

But Our point of view is that it is known issue and not to specific customer hence need permanent fix.
Moreover we have faced this problem in multiple orders and not specific one.

Order header should close automatically when all lines are either closed / cancelled.

The issue can NOT be reproduced at will.
