MFS Laptop: Some Attachments Sent From SR Form Cannot Be Opened On Laptop (Doc ID 1494020.1)

Symptoms


On : 12.1.3 version

 

Find that not all attachments (to SRs or other entities) on the backoffice seem to be downloaded to the mobile client, but they appear to be corrupted. When trying to open it (in case of a pdf file attachment), the following error occurs:


ERROR
-----------------------
File does not begin with '%PDF-'.
Local\EWH~$4..

This does not happen every time and when attaching the same document to the same entity (e.g. SR) again, it downloads to the client and can be opened successfully.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upload attachment in SR form
2. Logon to MFS
3. Open attachement
