Packaged Item With Cyrillic Fonts Can't Be Edited

Symptoms
An item containing a packaged item is created with Cyrillic fonts.
If you edit the item (Order Management -> Material Management -> Item -> Edit), then edit the Packaged Item by clicking on the yellow pencil, then it is not being edited. Instead, the page to create a new Packaged item is opened.
All the items WITHOUT Russian letters are handled correctly.
We have noticed, that the issue is relevant only to the Firefox browser. IE 7.x is working correctly and the system opens the EDIT windows as expected.
We have also noticed, that the system creates a Hyperlink that contains Russian letters. So we think that the problem is relevant to that.
