Timezone Integration Preference Not Respected By Rate Inquiry Reply (RIQReply)
(Doc ID 1505263.1)
Last updated on JULY 20, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.2.7 to 6.2.8 [Release 6.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On OTM version 6.2.7
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-------------------------
When a Rate Inquiry (RIQ) is sent into OTM using Integration, where the inbound XML contains an Integration Preference ID to influence the Timezone used in the reply from OTM, the result returned ignores the Timzeone as specified in the Integration Preference.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-------------------------
Expect the Integration Preference ID passed in as part of the XML to be used to find that ID in OTM and when OTM passes back the RIQ result the timezone used should be the one as set in the Integration Preference.
STEPS
------------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an Integration Preference within OTM, setting the Timezone to be EST (or any as needed).
2. Pass into OTM a Rate Inquiry XML file.
3. Note the items passed back from OTM are not in EST (or which ever times zone was specified in step 1).
