Why is a Negative Accrual Balance Message displayed when an absence is entered (Doc ID 1508156.1)

When a person takes a leave the message - "You have entered a value that makes the xxx balance negative."

Why is this so as the accrual shows they have the required days so as not to make the calculation negative?
