When I Have A Number In A Shipment Cost That Is Rounded Why Is The Figure Saved To The Database Not Rounded? (Doc ID 1514138.1)

Goal

We've set up an Accessorial Cost set to round to the nearest penny.

However, when we build a Shipment (or recalculate a Shipment) with this Accessorial Cost, we still end up with a database record consisting of 20+ decimal places for example 50.14999999999999857891452847979962825775).

The logs seem to indicate that the value should be stored as $50.15, but the decimals persist.

Why is this?
